Attcon International Corporation (“ATTCON”) is committed to safeguarding the personal information and confidential information (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Information”) of the customer (“Customer”). This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes ATTCON’s privacy practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of the Customer’s Information. This Privacy Policy applies to ATTCON’s website (“Website”) at www.ATTCONinternational.com and to ATTCON’s services (“Services”), as well as to Information that ATTCON collects from the Customer. By visiting and using the Website, the Customer agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy, and the Customer consents to the collection, use and disclosure of the Customer’s Information by ATTCON in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to ATTCON’s terms of service (“Terms of Service”) which can be found at www.ATTCONinternational.com. IF THE CUSTOMER DOES NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY OR THE TERMS OF SERVICE, PLEASE DO NOT PROVIDE ATTCON WITH ANY INFORMATION, AND DO NOT USE THE WEBSITE OR SERVICES.

 

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

Website

When the Customer uses the Website, ATTCON and our analytics providers may collect and store Information about the Customer and the Customer’s use of the Website. That Information may include details about the Customer’s browsing history (number of clicks, landing pages, number of times the page was viewed, IP address, browser type, and device information, etc.). ATTCON does not use any of the Website Information to personally identify a specific Customer, but rather for administration, maintenance, service improvement, and aggregate analytics purposes. Such aggregate information is not subject to the limitations on disclosure under this Privacy Policy.

Services

ATTCON may collect Information provided by the Customer when the Customer uses the Services. By the Customer providing Information to ATTCON, the Customer explicitly agrees to the collection and use of such Information as described in the Privacy Policy and represents and warrants that the Customer has all rights necessary to provide all such Information. When providing information to ATTCON, the Customer agrees to provide accurate, current and complete information, and to update that information whenever there is a change. If the Customer does not provide accurate, current and complete information, ATTCON reserves the right to terminate the use of the Website and Services.

Third Party Sources

ATTCON may obtain Customer Information from third parties such as our partners, affiliates, and service providers, and combine it with other Information it collects from the Customer. ATTCON may collect the Customer’s Information from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, and social media platforms.

International Customers

If the Customer does not reside in the United States, Information the Customer provides will be transferred to the United States and processed and stored according to ATTCON privacy standards. By using the Website and Services of ATTCON, the Customer consents to the Customer’s Information being transferred to, and stored and processed in, the United States or any other country in which ATTCON or its partners, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities, and consents to the use and disclosure of the Customer’s Information as stipulated in this Privacy Policy.

Minors

ATTCON’s Website and Services are not directed at minors, and ATTCON does not knowingly collect Information from minors. If you are a minor, please do not access ATTCON’s Website or use ATTCON’s Services. If you are a parent or guardian of a minor and discover or believe that your child has provided ATTCON with any Information, please contact ATTCON immediately.

 

USE OF INFORMATION

Providing Services

ATTCON uses Information it collects about the Customer such as to process orders, provide customer service, send marketing communications, and send administrative information to the Customer.

Disclosure to Third Parties

ATTCON works with third parties that support our business. ATTCON may disclose Information it collects about the Customer to third parties such as its subcontractors, business partners, affiliates, and service providers such as to process information and payments, prevent or respond to fraud, respond to requests from government authorities, and investigate and defend ATTCON against claims and allegations. ATTCON’s subcontractors, business partners, affiliates, and service providers are not permitted to use the Customer’s Information for their own purposes (including direct marketing) without the consent of the Customer.

Marketing

The Customer may opt out of receiving ATTCON marketing-related e-mails at any time by sending an e-mail to ATTCON. The Customer may also unsubscribe from ATTCON marketing-related e-mails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each ATTCON marketing-related e-mail. Even if the Customer chooses not to receive ATTCON marketing-related e-mails, ATTCON may still send the Customer important administrative messages.

 

RETENTION, DELETION, AND TRANSFER OF INFORMATION

Retention of Information

When the Customer communicates with ATTCON by e-mail, ATTCON may retain those communications such as to be able to process Customer inquiries, respond to Customer requests, and improve the Service. ATTCON may retain the Customer’s Information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in the Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Some of the Customer’s Information may remain within ATTCON’s systems and other records, in compliance with applicable law. ATTCON has no obligation to retain or make available to the Customer in the future any of the Customer’s documents or images, and those documents and images may be destroyed without the Customer’s permission.

Information Security

ATTCON understands that the security of the Customer’s Information is very important. ATTCON takes precautions (including administrative, technical, and physical measures) to safeguard the Customer’s Information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Although ATTCON makes good faith efforts to store Customer Information collected through the Website or Services in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, ATTCON cannot guarantee the absolute security of such Information during its transmission or its storage on ATTCON systems. ATTCON does not warrant or represent that the Customer’s Information will be protected against loss, misuse, or alteration by third parties. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that ATTCON shall not be liable in any way to compensate the Customer for any lack in security that the Customer might experience. In the event that Information is compromised as a result of a breach of security, ATTCON shall notify affected persons as required by applicable law.

Deletion of Information

The Customer may also contact ATTCON to request that ATTCON correct or delete the Customer’s Information. For the Customer’s protection, ATTCON will only implement requests with respect to Information related to the Customer (not anyone else), and ATTCON may need to verify the Customer’s identity before implementing the Customer’s request. ATTCON will comply with the Customer’s request as soon as reasonably practicable and in accordance with applicable law. ATTCON may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law.

Transfer of Information

If ATTCON should ever merge with another entity, the Customer’s Information is an ATTCON asset that ATTCON may freely transfer in connection with such merger without the Customer’s prior consent.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

Third Party Websites

ATTCON’s Website may contain links to third party websites, products, and services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such websites, products, and services and does not cover the information practices of such third parties. In addition, when the Customer clicks on these links, some information from the Customer’s browser may automatically be sent to the other company. Changes to this Privacy Policy

ATTCON reserves the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy at any time in its sole discretion. Any change or modification made by ATTCON shall be effective immediately upon being posted on ATTCON’s  Website. The Customer’s continued use of the Service after the revised Privacy Policy has become effective indicates that the Customer has read, understood, and agreed to the current version of this Privacy Policy. ATTCON encourages the Customer to periodically check ATTCON’s Website for the latest information on ATTCON’s Privacy Policy.
